By Road:
From the North - Norwich/Diss/Thetford: via A134
Follow along the A134 from Thetford, straight through Ingham until you come to the 1st roundabout at Bury St Edmunds.
Go straight over this roundabout and straight over the second roundabout, following signs to the A14 Ipswich.
At the 3rd roundabout turn right (Signed A14 Ipswich)
Follow the Dual carriage way and at the end bear left onto the A14 towards Ipswich.
Take the next Junction (44) signed Bury St Edmunds East. Turn left onto Symonds road and the hotel entrance is 1st on the left.
From the South - London via M11
Junction 9 onto A11, Cambridge/Newmarket
Follow A11 towards Newmarket/Norwich A14. Follow signs past Newmarket (A14) towards Bury St Edmunds/Ipswich
Along the A14, take junction number (44), Bury St Edmunds East Exit.
Turn Left onto Symonds road at the first roundabout and the hotel entrance is 1st on the left.
From the West - Birmingham: via M6
At Swinford take the A14 Cambridge/Newmarket.
Head towards Cambridge which will bring you to Newmarket/Norwich A14, follow past Newmarket until you reach Bury St Edmunds.
Take Junction (44), Bury St Edmunds East Exit.
Turn left onto Symonds road at the roundabout and the hotel entrance is 1st on the left.

This recommended route is designed as a guide to help you reach the Ramada Bury St Edmunds easily by car. We consider this to be the quickest & easiest but not necessarily the shortest. Approximately 1.9 Miles:
Turn left out of the railway station car park, at the T junction turn right, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the A1302 ( signposted Thetford ), at the roundabout take the 5th exit, then merge on to the A14 (signposted Ipswich), Leave the A14 at junction 44, then at the roundabout take the first exit (signposted Moreton Hall area), at the roundabout take the first exit onto Symonds Road, the Hotel is located approx 50 meters on the Left.

Turn left out of the station car park, turn right at the T junction, (Out Northgate) at the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to Cannon Street, bear left on to Northgate Street, continue to the end of Northgate Street, turn right into Mustow Street, continue on to Angel Hill, continue onto Crown Street, turn left onto Honey Hill, continue onto Sparhawk Street, bear left into St. Mary`s Square, bear left into Southgate Street, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Rougham Road(A1302), at the roundabout take the first exit onto (A1302),at the roundabout take the first exit, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Symonds Road, the hotel is located approx 50 meters on the left. Approximately 2 Miles.
